There is no place like Baked True North around! To know it’s a dedicated gluten free and celiac-safe space is such a relief. There are dairy free and vegan options too. They have staples (my fav are the breakfast sandwiches and cinnamon rolls) but the rotating menu lets you try some fun seasonal treats. Completely recommend!
A gluten-free bakery located on Perry Highway, near Wexford. They feature delicious coffee drinks, amazing gluten- free baked goods as well as vegan and dairy free options, and fun vintage items. I am not gluten-free but wanted to check them out and WOW- everything I tried was amazing. It does not even taste like gluten-free which is amazing. The textures, flavors and diversity is really amazing. Tried the breakfast sandwich which was a gluten free English muffin with sausage, egg and cheese. It was really tasty! Got some cinnamon rolls and cupcakes to go! Also had a London Fog which totally hit the spot! Everything is very fairly priced. They have a great staff and quick service which is perfect to grab and go!
This is one of our new favorite bakeries!!! We aren’t even gluten free but everything we have tried was amazing! The lemon bars were some of the best we have ever had; perfectly tart and sweet. They have the THICKEST english muffin, perfect for just toasting or making a breakfast sandwich; and the scones were not dry at all and two-year old approved! The ordering process online was seamless and the food arrived fast and fresh.
My best friend introduced this wonderful gem, as my mom has severe Celiac disease. I purchased a sampling of their baked goods and treats and my mom couldn't be happier! As someone who is personally not Celiac, the flavor and texture of many of the items is just like that of their gluten-full cousins. Highly recommend and it was such a nice experience to be able to walk into a bakery and buy anything I wanted for my mom!!
This gluten-free bakery and cafe is five-star any way you look at it! I recently took my sons there I took to see if they might be able to tell the difference between gluten-free cupcakes, donuts and cookies, and guess what?!?! THEY HAD NO CLUE—everything was so yummy!!😋 Baked True North offers a variety of delicious, gluten-free baked goods and coffee, using only the finest ingredients, in the cutest vintage-inspired diner. Definitely check it out!
This is a gluten free paradise! The lemon bars are my favorite but the donuts are really good when they are warm! They have different flavored focaccia that is really good too! Also, pepperoni rolls are amazing!. The staff is so friendly and they are great about ordering for holidays. Their Instagram is very helpful and shows was is in the bakery each day and updates about events and holiday ordering.
Baked True North is a vintage inspired, gluten free bakery located in the North Hills! We tried so many of their delicious pastries, from donuts, to scones, to sandwiches, they really have the whole package! Everything we tried was delicious, but my favorite was the cinnamon roll!!It was absolutely decadent and the icing on top was addictive :) All of the staff were so extremely nice as well, making the whole experience great!
Amazing selection of completely gluten free baked goods! They are some of the best I’ve had, both sweet and savory. I ordered custom decorated sugar cookies for my birthday and they captured the theme perfectly and everyone loved them. The cinnamon rolls are so good😍
Such a bright and cheery local bakery! From the retro building to the pleasant greetings, wide selection of gluten-free baked goods, lunch menu and unmistakable vintage vibe, I love stopping in whenever I can. Just picked up a variety of lovely and delicious cupcakes for a friend’s birthday surprise. Everyone enjoyed them and loved the selection - traditional chocolate and vanilla, London Fog (lavender flavored - so good!) Rose Vanilla and Earl Grey with Lemon. Honestly, it was hard to choose. I’ll be back soon!
A lovely spot for my gluten free sweet tooth. This place has the most varieties of GF goodies out of anywhere in Pittsburgh. My favorites are their cinnamon buns, their donuts and their cookies. They also have bars, muffins and cakes, and a variety of savory breads. Love 'em and highly recommend!
